About lenna jove
Lots of folks can teach a framework.
That’s not what I offer.
Folks often tell me they feel calmer around me before they understand why. They tell me they feel more spacious, more grounded, more able to fully be themselves.
I think part of that’s because I trust people deeply.
I trust that even beneath confusion, contradiction, overwhelm, self-doubt, and even intense self-criticism, there’s wisdom trying to emerge. I trust that what looks like resistance often has a reason. I trust that what feels hopelessly entangled can become understandable. Or at the very least, accompanied.
My work begins here, not with fixing or diagnosis or becoming someone else. Our work begins in relationship, in what’s Here, Right Now.
Liberatory Relational Inner Ecology
The work I offer is called Relational Inner Ecology.
It’s a liberation-centered embodiment practice rooted in the knowledge that our bodyminds and inner worlds are complex, adaptive, sensitive ecosystems with infinite relationships to itself and the outer worlds.
Like any ecosystem, we contain contradictions, seasons, old growth, new growth, places that have been neglected, places that are waiting to be returned to with care.
Healing, to me, isn’t about controlling our ecosystems but about learning how to be in right relationship with it. That relationship is non-linear, and from my perspective, spiralic.
We return to familiar places and parts of ourselves with different resources, questions, and capacities than we’ve had before.
What Working With Me Feels Like
One of my gifts is helping people slow down enough to notice connections. We learn how to listen deeply and hear what’s been trying to speak to you.
I help folks make sense of experiences that feel overwhelming, chaotic, contradictory, or difficult to name.
Some times that means we’ll find language for something you’ve felt your entire life but never known how to describe. Some times we’ll untangle a complicated relationship, grief, identity question, or life transition. Other times, we’ll sit beside uncertainty rather than rushing toward answers.
I don’t believe every question can or should be solved. But I do believe we can develop a different relationship with uncertainty and discomfort—one that allows for curiosity, possibility, and even wonder.
A lot of the time, people come to me carrying experiences that feel too big, too messy, or too confusing. Over time, they find themselves more internally resourced, more trusting of themselves, and more able to stay present in moments of conflict and uncertainty.
A Different Kind of Relationship
I’m not interested in the position of “expert.”
I trust that you know yourself best, and I am here to guide you into deeper understanding of, connection with, and empowerment in your self.
To do that, I bring my full humanity into this work. I reference my lived experience, I name and own my perspectives, I center my intuition, creativity, humor, and honesty over my Education.
I’m willing to ask the difficult questions and name things that may be living underneath the surface of a conversation. I care deeply about truth-telling but I care just as deeply about tenderness.
People who work with me (or generally are in relationship with me) feel seen, challenged, and respected. That balance really matters to me.
Autonomy, consent, and relationship are some of my core values and practices. I believe that meaningful change happens when we feel safe enough to be honest, and supported enough to stay with what we find.
The Lineages that Inform My Work
Healing can never be separate from politics, as the political spheres of our lives directly shape the violence, trauma, and wounds we live with.
The way we learn to relate to ourselves shapes the way relate to other people, conflict, power, community, desire, rest, grief—and vice versa.
Internalized shame does not stay internal. Neither does self-trust.
I am deeply informed by:
Black feminist thought and practice
Transformative justice, decolonization, and abolitionism
Disability justice
Queer and trans liberation
Somatic and trauma-informed approaches, including Internal Family Systems and parts work
Guided imagery and imaginal exploration
Spiritual and earth-based traditions
These are not aesthetics for me. They shape how I understand and practice care, accountability, embodiment, and change.
I’m not interested in neutrality. I’m interested in honesty, complexity, and building ways of relating that create more possibility for us all.
Just a Lil More About Me
Hello, love!
My name is lenna jove, and i use he/they/fae pronouns.
I am a Whole-Hearted Embodiment Guide and Liberation Doula (coined by Jordyn Hope).
I am a white-bodied person with white privilege actively working to understand and disrupt the impacts of colonization and supremacy in my own life and relationships.
I am disabled and chronically ill, and currently use the term AuDHD to understand my neurotype. These shape how I think about and practice pacing, flexibility, access, and sustainability.
I am spiritual—studying astrology and practicing reciprocity with nature daily. I also work with ritual, dreams, seasonal cycles, and ongoing relational healing in my own life.
I spend a lot of time paying attention to birds, trees, weather, music, water, memory, our words, and our silences.
I love to read (especially queer & trans fiction), spend time with my cats este & nox, cook for friends, & flirt over Scrabble.
Born and raised in a small town in Georgia, I have roots in the South but call St. Louis, Missouri home.

If you’re here, maybe you’re spiraling.
Maybe you’re returning to an old question with new awareness.
Maybe you’re recognizing patterns you can no longer ignore.
Maybe part of you knows there’s another way to relate to yourself and your life, even if you can’t fully see it yet.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before beginning.
You just need enough willingness to stay curious about what your spiral might be trying to show you.
I’d be honored to walk alongside you in that process.
